Teach and Travel Project Thailand
In the ‘Teach and Travel Project’ of TEFL Academy, the candidates are given
a life time opportunity to teach in the exotic orient after completing the
online TESOL course. The eligible and native candidates can enroll to this
project by TA and get this opportunity.
The first phase of the ‘Teach and Travel Project’ by TA starts with the 120
hours online course. After full payment of the course the candidates will be
given a username and password which will give them access to the course.
They will have to submit assignments there, get course material, live chat
with the instructor, see live lectures on video and also can communicate
with the fellow students. The assignments of the candidates are regularly
evaluated by professionals. The online course by TA is same as the onsite
course and the word ‘online’ is not even mentioned in the certificate.
Along with the 120 hours of online course the candidates are given 20 hours
reading material, which helps them in upgrading their knowledge about the
country where they are suppose to work.
The second phase of the project takes place after the candidate reaches the
country where they want to take up ESL job. The country specific cultural
orientation is given to the teachers for 20 hours so that they do not find
it difficult to teach in the foreign environment.
The third phase of the ‘Teach and Travel Project’ is the when the certified
TEFL teachers starts doing the ESL Job. TEFL Academy commits the candidates
four to five months of teaching jobs in Thailand which can be extended with
mutual agreement.
